How not to be a loser
Information technology has become one of the driving forces of change in the economy - just like electricity, the automobile, telecommunications and the airplane have been in the past. But because technological revolutions also make winners and losers of individuals, firms and regions, can we predict the impact IT will have on our lives? More to the point, can we make sure we end up among the winners of the IT revolution - or, at least, avoid joining the ranks of its losers? Perhaps.
